To
be full citizens today, teens and young adults must be
engaged, articulate, critical and collaborative. They
must become creators, designers, builders and innovators
who envision new possibilities. Voices
of the New Millenium is partnering with several
Chicago schools and community-based organizations to offer
a mixture of arts and media opportunities
to foster growth in literacy as well as technological
fluency by using media arts as a tool for self-expression
and deeper learning through creative writing, community
reporting, music production, mutimedia design, performing
arts and more.
